Anna Tikhomirova and Artem Ovcharenko Bolshoi Wedding

Both Anna and Artem are highly sought after as ballet dancers. To find time to plan a wedding in their hectic schedule was indeed a very challenging task. But nevertheless they have created a breathtaking event full of emotion, beauty, surprises and worthy of the best performances by the Bolshoi ballet.

 

The ceremony took place on a beautiful lakeside. The groom arrived from the lake on an exquisitely decorated raft that was used as the altar. It was adorned with bunches of white hydrangeas. The guests were very taken by the emotion of seeing the bride on the arm of her father Nikolay Tikhomirov as he walked her down the aisle to the altar.. Magic was definitely in the air! Many of Anna and Artem friends, colleagues and fans have helped to make this day special. The newlyweds entertained their guests with an incredible show of stunning dancing performances that were choreographed especially for that night by the groom himself.

 

Anna and Artem met when they were studing at the Bolshoi Ballet School Academy and from dancers of the corps de ballet they have grown together to some of the brightest stars of the Bolshoi theatre. We heartily congratulate them on this happy occasion!
